1.Do I have to pay the full car hire price if I wish to confirm the booking?

For car hire bookings, we require a booking fee, which is a percentage of the total car hire cost. The balance is to be paid in Euro or Romanian Lei to the Rent a Car company, when you pick up your vehicle.
Please note that deposits for car hire bookings are non-refundable (in case you want to cancel the booking).

2.Will I be able to extend my car rental period or I could return it earlier?

The romaniantravelling car rental rate is only guaranteed for the length of your trip as defined by the dates you book on the site. If you wish to extend your car rental, please discuss this directly with the car rental company. (The rate for additional days may be significantly higher than the romaniantravelling rate.) If you need to return your rental car early, you will not receive any refund for unused portions of your car rental reservation. Your rate is based on the pick-up and drop-off dates you provide when you book a reservation. All bookings made on Hotwire are final and cannot be refunded, changed, exchanged or transferred.

3.Can I make changes to my reservation?

After you send your details about the reservation and you proceed to payment, you can't make any changes to it.

4.What if I miss my flight or is delayed and that affects my ability to pick up a car?

Our partners will hold your rental car for up to 24 hours. If your pick-up date is delayed because of flight problems, you will not be reimbursed for any unused portions of your reservation. All bookings made through romaniantravelling are final and cannot be cancelled, refunded, changed, exchanged or transferred.

5.Can I change my pick-off or drop off time?

No, but you can pick up your car later than the scheduled time. Our partners will hold your rental car for up to 24 hours. If you return your car early, you will not be reimbursed for any unused portion of your reservation. If you return your car more than one hour late, you may be charged for extra rental days. Because your romaniantravelling hot rate is only guaranteed for the rental period you booked on the site, any additional days may be charged at a higher rate.

All bookings made on romaniantravelling are final and cannot be refunded, changed, exchanged or transferred.

As you have already seen, you have two possibilities for paying booking fee and full amount.

8.What should I do in case of an accident?

First, make sure that everyone involved is okay. If someone is injured, immediately dial 112 for help. Second, contact the local authority in order to fill out the necessary accident report. Third, call the rental location to inform them of the accident.

9.What do I do if my vehicle is not functioning properly?

First, call the location from which the vehicle was rented. Phone numbers can be found on the locations web page. The staff at the rental location will be able to instruct you as to what to do.

10.Can I change the car type I booked?

No. All bookings made on romaniantravelling are final and cannot be cancelled, refunded, changed, exchanged or transferred. Change fees are not an option. If our travel partners can be absolutely confident that the products they sell through romaniantravelling will be used in the exact way they were sold, they can offer deeply discounted rental cars. These restrictions enable the car rental companies to better manage their unsold rental cars. It is a big reason why we can offer you great travel deals.

11.How do I take care of any special service requests (e.g., ski racks, hand controls)?

Once you have booked your car rental reservation and learn the identity of the car rental company, you may contact the company directly regarding any special requirements you may have. To reserve any special equipment -- such as child safety seats, cell phones, ski racks, hand controls, etc. -- please call the car rental company before the pick-up date to check on availability and specific offerings.

Special needs are not included in the romaniantravelling price and may be subject to additional charges. Our car rental partners are willing to help whenever possible, but the ability to accommodate special requests may be subject to availability. If you have any special needs that are crucial, we recommend calling one of our car rental partners directly rather than booking through romaniantravelling.
