1.Are the accommodation rates quoted per room or per person?

Rates are quoted per room on a nightly basis.

2.What if there will be more than 2 adults in the room?

Most hotels in Romania allow additional guests to stay in the rooms at an extra charge that can differ between 25% and 50% of the rate per person in room, per extra person per night. The additional bedding consists in an extra bed or a rollaway bed.

At some hotels it may not be possible to have any additional bedding in the room, but our system has the ability to pre-select the room type based on the number of travelers.

Note that the following pattern usually applies: Single rooms contain 1 bed. Double rooms contain 1 large bed for 2 people (matrimonial bed). Twin rooms contain 2 separate beds. Triple or quad rooms contain a double bed and a sofa bed or 2 double beds. 1 bed per person CANNOT be guaranteed.

3.Our children will be traveling with us - do they stay free?

Usually in Romania children under the age of 7 (in some cases under 12) stay for free in their parents' room using the existing bedding. The age requirements differ depending on the specific hotels policies and may be viewed in the hotel information section. When not listed, please contact Customer Support for assistance.

4.What is the hotel check in time?

Hotel check in time is usually 12 or 2 P.M., but it can differ from one hotel to another. This aspect may be viewed in the hotel information section.

 

5.Will the hotel hold my room if I am arriving late?

The hotel usually holds your room until 6 P.M. on the day of arrival. The best is to mention in your reservation form that you're arriving late so that the reservation is guaranteed.

6.Are all the prices on the site quoted in Euro?

All prices are quoted in Euro.

7.What happens when I make a reservation?

Entering your credit card information and hitting the submit button will result in a new screen showing the confirmation or reference number which should be used for any further correspondence with the travel reservation center. Additionally, all reservations will be followed up by an email using the same confirmation or reference number.

8.Will my credit card be charged when I book my reservation?

Your credit card will be charged when you receive the confirmation that the hotel/car/tour you booked is available. We will send this confirmation by e-mail or fax within a maximum of 48 hours.

9.Are taxes included in the rate?

Most rates include taxes.

10.Do I have to pay a fee for the online payment service?

No credit card charges are required.

11.What if I do not receive my email confirmation?

If you do not receive an email after making a reservation it may be that we have the incorrect email address or your ISP may have blocked the email. Please contact our Customer Support and we will re-send the confirmation by email or fax.

12.What if I arrive at the hotel and they do not show my reservation?

All of our reservations are confirmed with the hotel or its management company so if you arrive at a hotel and they do not show the reservation please call our Customer Support immediately and we will advise the hotel on where to find the reservation.

13.How does the hotel know I have already paid for my room?

After you confirm your reservation you will receive a pre-paid voucher via email. Print this voucher and present to the hotel upon check in.

14.How can I obtain a receipt for my hotel room?

Your voucher is your receipt; please retain a copy of your voucher for your records. If you need an additional copy of your voucher please contact our Customer Support and we can re- send the voucher via email.

15.What do I do if I need to change my reservation?

If you need to modify your reservation please contact our Customer Support for assistance. Please note that you may be required to cancel your original reservation and rebook for the new dates. In case you still decide to modify your reservation, a 10% tax of the total price will be applied to your bill.

16.How do I cancel my reservation?

Reservations may be canceled online. You may also contact our Customer Support to cancel reservations. It is your responsibility to obtain a cancellation for your reservation. If you are unable to reach our Customer Support, you may call the hotel directly to obtain your cancellation and then contact our Customer Support as soon as possible after obtaining the number from the hotel.

17.If I wish to cancel my booking once a confirmation invoice has been issued, do I have to pay cancellation charges?

If you wish to cancel your booking you have to notify us in writing. In case of no-arrival without a written notification you will be charged with 100% of total price. You don’t pay any cancellation amount if you notify us in writing at least 40 days prior to departure for groups of more than 10 persons and at least 15 days prior to departure for individuals, less than 10 persons.
