Tour Description
After dipping its heights in the dew of stars, the rainbow arch comes down from the proud peaks of Fagaras towards lower temples, towards the sweet and docile soft crest lines covered with pastures, the solitary peaks covered with woods, in Cibin Mountains.
Filled with whispers and silence, unexpected and beauty, life and quietness, colors and rest, Fagaras Mountains give birth to the rainbow, through the blue of the ice lakes. From here, it starts for the sun, borrowing from it the yellow and the orange, then heading to Cibin Mountains, with crest lines covered almost entirely with forests, with smooth forms and rounded peaks, stealing from it the soothing green. It reaches the maximum arch over Olt Gorges, listens for a while ''the uninterrupted song'' like '' a long symphonic poem'' of Olt River, then goes down towards the waterfalls, cold and clear like saints' tears of happiness.
The colors of the rainbow from Sibiu represented a source of inspiration for the traditional folklore and costumes in this region. The villages from Marginimea Sibiului are well-known for the authentic folklore, for the charming and colorful traditional costumes, for the crafts kept from generation to generation.
